"Rock it (Prime Jive)" de Queen

Hoy es viernes y toca canción... Nada más y nada menos que de mi grupo favorito, Queen. Se trata de "Rock it (Prime Jive)", un tema del álbum "The Game", que el grupo británico sacó en 1980 (es decir, hace 40 años, bonita efeméride). Es una canción atípica en muchos sentidos, primero porque la escribió Roger Taylor (los compositores habituales eran Freddie Mercury y Brian May), porque no es un single (de aquel disco salieron temazos conocidísimos como "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" o "Another One Bites The Dust"), y porque la canta (en el disco) mayormente Roger Taylor.

El caso es que es una de mis canciones favoritas de Queen, no sé muy bien por qué, pero el ritmillo me encanta y, aunque la letra no es nada del otro mundo (sin llegar a "I'm In Love With My Car", que es terrible), encaja muy bien con el tono y la melodía. Además, me pone de muy buen humor, y eso es algo que tienen no muchas canciones. Creo que es la típica canción que sólo bichos raros como yo (fans muy fans) conocen y aprecian, así que es el momento de estrenar 2020 en esta sección con una rareza.
